JOHN HART GENERATING STATION REPLACEMENT PROJECT

Building a $1.2 billion generating station replacement in Campbell River requires a lot of equipment, material, personnel – and communications support. To keep the public informed of the work at this legacy project and to meet communications requirements set out in its project agreement, InPower retained ZINC to act as communications manager. Along with creating proactive updates about construction progress and local economic benefits, ZINC also manages a time-lapse camera project, supports public presentations, coordinates on-site events and develops messaging for public relations topics. Keeping track of a high profile, complex build involving many organizations can be challenging. By having ZINC focus on good public relations and strong communications, the project team can focus on its expertise: building.
